Antarctica. We arrived on the Antarctic Peninsula late in the southern summer, so most of the penguin chicks were already adolescent. On the arrival of a parent carrying food for its chick, many other chicks would join a hilarious wobbly pursuit of the adult, only for the most tenacious (usually its own) chick to win the prize of some partially digested squid and fish.
