Glacier

Paradise Harbour, Antarctica. This is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We arrived at this appropriately named spot on a perfectly still day with a mirrored surface. The 'harbour' is a natural horseshoe shaped inlet surrounded by towering peaks with a glacier calving off into the waters of the bay. The only way to obtain this shot was to have the inflatable move along at low speed and hang over the front trying not to fall in or drop the camera, only inches from the surface of the freezing water. The motion introduced a technical challenge as well as trying to find a good composition!
